John D. Mimms is a business owner, paranormal researcher and author. John served as the Technical Director for a TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society) family paranormal research group in Central Arkansas. During his 4 year tenure with the organization he helped supervise over 100 investigations and wrote more than sixteen technical articles. One of John’s articles titled, A Christmas Carol Debunked, was read live on the air of the Parazona Radio program by Paul Bradford of Ghost Hunters International fame. John also wrote a definitive technical/training manual which is a comprehensive guide on equipment usage, investigation protocol and scientific theory for paranormal research.

In 2009 John decided to couple his knowledge of paranormal phenomenon with his lifelong love of literary fiction. In July of 2010 he completed the manuscript for an 185,000 word sci-fi fantasy epic titled, The Great Keep. This was followed in 2011 by a suspense thriller centered on a paranormal research group titled, Death Theory. Also in 2012, John collaborated with his wife, Aimee, on a children’s Christmas book titled Santa P’Mouse.

John recently branched out and completed a novel in the romance genre but from a man’s perspective. The manuscript is titled The Lemonade Girl.

John’s first major publication will be available July 10, 2014 wherever books are sold. It is a sci-fi/paranormal thriller titled THE TESLA GATE.

John is currently hard at work on the sequels to THE TESLA GATE which is planned to be a trilogy.

John currently resides with his wife and two sons on beautiful Petit Jean Mountain in central Arkansas.
